Victoria’s Marriage Journey

My husband and I dated in college before going our separate ways.  Fourteen years, one divorce, and two kids later we reconnected.  Building a marriage with step-children and an ex-husband is complicated, and we definitely had our share of “growing pains” as we established our new blended family.  Along the way we encountered cancer diagnosis, lost jobs, unemployment, the challenges of teenagers, and the challenge of transitioning to an empty nest.  It was easy at times to blame each other for the struggles, but but with grace, forgiveness of our own selves as well as each other, and much laughter we have forged a solid partnership and have now been married over 18 years.  While there is always room to grow, he is now my best friend and my safe place and I look forward to many more years together.

Regardless of what brings you in to see me, I will provide a space to explore who you are, where you are, and who and where you want to be. Working from a strengths based model, we will then begin the process of moving towards those goals.
